The Bike, Trike, and Wagon Parade returns to Rochester Park on Saturday, May 29 during Heritage Days. This annual event is a Memorial Weekend favorite for local youngsters and their families.
Children can ride their decorated bicycles, tricycles, wagons and strollers through Rochester Park. The parade steps off at 10:30 a.m. Children may begin lining up with their bicycles at 10:15 a.m. in the park on the trail near the Albertson Street entrance. The parade will wind through the park and around the Kiwanis Pavilion.
Children aged two through nine can participate. The only requirement is that bikes be decorated with a patriotic theme. Prizes will be awarded for the best decorated in the following age categories: 2 – 4 years, 5 – 7 years, and 8 – 9 years.
